INTERESTED
IN SUBMITTING AN ANIMATED SHORT BASED ON THIS CONCEPT?
If you wish to create an animation based on the competition
theory of the AvsB Project, feel free to work on your own projects.
When you have them completed you can simply email me a link
to your project. After successfully reviewing it, I will add
a link from this site to your file. You can include any information
about the project that you wish. But please follow the guidelines
listed below. If you have a question about any of the items,
I'd be happy to discuss them with you.
AVSB
SUBMISSION GUIDELINES
- Animations
will not contain any foul language, inappropriate visual
images, or explicit music lyrics. Try to keep it rated "PG".
- Animations
must contain a likeness of the University Logos involved
in the competition.
- If
you wish, you can also include a likeness of a school mascot.
However, the logo's are mandatory.
- Animation
quality must match the intended result. Simple animation
is okay if that is the goal. But bad animation will be sent
back for improvements. Remember, though it is a study of
competition, it is also a device to help improve your artistic
skills and expression.
- All animation projects submitted to this site must contain
the following reference: "Based on the Original AvsB Project"
- Titles,
animated or not, must contain the initials of the universities/schools
involved. Thus, if you have Harvard, Cambridge, and Yale
involved in a competition together, the titles could be:
HvsCvsY, H&CvsY. But there must always be a "vs" because
it is a competition.
- It is
recommended that the animated competition be between two
logos. However, some circumstances my warrant the inclusion
of more logos for one match. Use your discretion in this
matter.
- You must
be a current student or graduate
of one of the schools involved in your animation.
If you are not sure whether or not your project will quality,
simply email me and we can discuss it. If you have a website with
artwork and concepts, that would greatly be appreciated.
